Feb 17, 2024 · The only place you will see 'news' as such in Edge is on the New Tab Page, which is by default populated with content from MSN. If you don't want to see it, on the new tab page, click on the gear icon in its top corner to open the Page settings menu. At the foot of this menu, use the dropdown below Content to select Content off. Edit on 7/26/2024.
Follow the procedure below to disable MSN in the new tab. 1. In MS Edge, open a new tab and click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the page; 2. Under "Page layout", select "Custom"; 3. Under "Content", change it to "Content off". In this same menu, you can disable other items of the new tab if desired. I hope this helps.
