May 11, 2017 · When Leftfield released their debut album in 1995, it changed dance music forever. Wilfully eclectic, Leftism never settled on a single genre, dabbling in tribal, trance, dub, house and ambient music.
For a "left-field pop" album this has to be the tamest Japanese music I've ever heard The second disc actually has some pretty decent tracks. I wasn't blown away by any of it, but I did note down a couple of artists that I wanna hear more of. In that sense, this comp has accomplished what it's supposed to. I just expected a wee bit more.
