Dec 9, 2014 · I am assisting a family member upgrade from a Q10 to a Z30. The problem is we dont know what the existing BBID password is for the phone. When trying to backup using blackberry link it wants you to log into your blackberry ID. When trying to download the device switch app from BB world it wants you to log in. Unfortunately we dont know the login.
Jan 1, 2022 · spARTacus. I think mine still works. With BlackBerry world and BBID servers now gone however, one won't be able to install apps on the Playbook unless sideloading them. I think the earlier suggestion was that post shutdown there will be no ability to do a re-install/wipe.

If you’re looking to buy a blackberry now Q20 should be a much feasible option since you can setup playstore and use few apps such as telegram, opera & Spotify. It’s a touchscreen too. So my suggestion would be to get a Q20 . You can find factory sealed pieces in eBay. And the one in this pic is a BlackBerry Curve.
