Lincolnshire has over 50 miles of coastline, stretching from The Humber in the north to The Wash in the south. Many of its beaches have been awarded Blue Flag status. The Lincolnshire Wolds has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Those born here are often referred to as Yellowbellies.

This is a circular walk from the Lincolnshire village of Donington on Bain, that rises gently to a ridge with views over the mix of arable and pastoral farming in the Lincolnshire Wolds. A short way off the track lie the remains of the RAF Stenigot radar station. The final section follows the Viking Way from the Humber Bridge to Oakham.
