Apr 29, 2011 · 597. wayoung. So, after an hour of tech support I found this out: The playbook does charged when turned off, but at less than 1/5th of the normal rate. The reasons my playbook (supposedly) isn't charging is because it is burning all the charge it gets trying to reboot.

Enter it incorrectly 10 times, and the PlayBook will wipe itself and you can start over from scratch. Hi, I attempted this fix and now all that happens is that I get locked out for 15 minutes with each attempt.
