Sep 10, 2012 · 230. WeAreNotAlone. I have an early version of the PB, with a recessed power button, running 2.0.1.358. The touchscreen has become completely unresponsive; no swiping, tapping, nothing. The battery is fully charged, the device will power on and off (using the physical buttons), and is recognized by DM.
What happened to BlackBerry? The CEO refused to get with the times, iirc. There was a good long form article in one of the business magazines a few years ago. Not only did RIM not get with the times, they had no idea that the cell carriers were going to increase their data capacity as fast as they did.
Aug 20, 2012 · Feel: I still love the feel and form of the 4G PlayBook. It's identical to the Wi-Fi version and the 7" size is perfect for a tablet. Performance: The 4G LTE PlayBook is noticeably faster than the Wi-Fi version. The added processing power gives it much welcomed extra kick. Quality: This is a well-built device - no question.

Dec 11, 2012 · Quite frustrated that my just-over-a-year-old 64GB Playbook that I purchased full price (AU$800) is now non-functioning. Snap. This is exactly what happened to my just-over-a-year-old 64Gb. It went to the repair centre today by FedEx in response to my pleas to BB Support for help.
Jul 7, 2012 · To fix an issue, try these in order: Restart using the Battery Icon and press Restart. Press and hold the Power button for 10-15 seconds. Then leave it for 20-30 seconds and see if it restarts. To REBOOT: Press and HOLD all three keys for about 10 - 20 seconds: PowerOn, VolUp and VolDown. Start with the PowerButton.
