If i remember you can do as a bbphone... tape a wrong password many time then it will hardreset and sent to the email register to it an em-mail with your old password because same if it is a hardreset you will need the password to open it once the reset done...

Enter it incorrectly 10 times, and the PlayBook will wipe itself and you can start over from scratch. Hi, I attempted this fix and now all that happens is that I get locked out for 15 minutes with each attempt.
The only way I could do it is by hooking up the USB cable from the computer to the Playbook to a real Blackberry Phone First, then, once it was identified, quickly swap the cable to the Playbook. Second, when I hooked the Blackberry Phone to my computer, it asked me to install some Blackberry Drivers from a partition on the phone.
Jun 29, 2011 · Start a Restore process as normal: from the Device menu, select Restore. In the middle of the window that opens, you'll see the "Select Data to Restore" section. If you click on the radio button next to "Select device data and settings" you'll be able to select what databases and options you'll restore to your phone.

Wiping the OS on the PlayBook's BlackBerry Tablet OS is extremely simple - just go to Settings > Security > Security Wipe, type in blackberry, and tap the Wipe Data button.
Jul 30, 2012 · Then disconnect battery. Wait 20 seconds, reconnect battery and then the charge right after. Wait 20 to 30 minutes at it charges. Turn it on to ensure it has enough charge to turn on, then reconnect charger and snap the back cover on. This worked when stack charging did not.
