  1. May 7, 2009 · Also, I can't download anything from Demonoid because in BitTorrent it doesn't connect to the demonoid tracker. It says "No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it." I have no idea why this would happen, but it's really bugging me because I thrive on Demonoid, it's the best place to find what i'm looking for.

  3. The new demonoid is not run by the same people, and the original founders have no idea who is running it, yet somehow they have all of your login info. It's probably being run by either an agency who got a hold of their server data after the shutdown, or a hacker. I wouldn't log in if I were you. 22. Jaraxo.

  4. A public tracker that literally anybody can use is, by definition, not "desired." It simply exists and is used. And people who've ever had access to quality public trackers either don't bother with TPB, or use it as a last resort to check for something they can't source elsewhere, usually to disappointing results.

  5. Jul 4, 2009 · The first thing done when "Start" is selected is Check the torrent (even if it has not been started before.) Thus any torrents added and started are queued behind whatever may be undergoing a Check. In my case yesterday a check was underway for a 28GB torrent which can take a very long time and consequently clog the works for a very long time.
