I will watch this thread. I am looking for audiobooks. I've found some sites out there, but finding the desired book is tedious work. Many of the sites do not designate the language or genre. Demonoid was a star at sorting and clearing out debris.

Demonoid a) only tracked ratio from one IP address, so if say you browsed from one and seeded / leeched from another, your activity was simply not recorded. b) as torrents often had more than one tracker, it was inaccurate in that way also. So I don't believe private trackers ever really accepted demonoid stats.
