Originally formed as the Vegetarian Cycling Club, it was established in 1888, to demonstrate that vegetarians could compete against meat eaters on an equal footing. Over the years we have had members of all abilities from commuting cyclists to high class competitors. Members participate in running, cycling, athletics and multi-sport.

A focal point of our facility is our NBA-competition basketball court, which is open to players of all ages (children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult). If you're interested in a little pick-up, open men's games take place: Sundays: Noon - 2 p.m. Monday, Tuesdays: 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Thursdays: 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.
