Feb 19, 2020 · No way to get around it unfortunately and no tricks with the Desktop software, if you plug it into the PC it will ask for the device password. Most common passwords are were wersdf 1234 123456 pass password qwerty. I think you can erase it using the desktop software.

If you still know your BBID or the device has an OS that is earlier than 10.3.2.###, you can get back into the device after it has wiped, but it will be in an out of the box state, no data, messages, or third party apps.

Although at that point, BlackBerry Protect will require you to type in your current BBID in order to set your phone up again
