Steep Hill is the main route up to Lincoln Cathedral and Castle. The surface is mainly cobbled with flag stone pavements either side, it is steep. En-route the hill is lined with lovely independent shops and cafes and is well worth the effort to walk up. The return journey takes you to the main shopping area of the City Centre.
