He handed me off to a T-Mobile Blackberry Tech who agreed with me. When I spoke with the Playbook support folks last night, they informed me that the software had been pulled. Of course this was after I did a security wipe and then couldn't restore my back-up file because of a OS incompatibility; Playbook had the new and the DM was showing the old.
Jul 12, 2011 · When I first connected my Playbook, the computer found it, but the Blackberry Desktop Software won't connect. After a few days trying to connect, something happened and it connected. Most everything was good. Today, however, back to the drawing board and I hadn't changed anything. The Playbook says it is connected, but the software says no.

While exploring other options, it just turned on and since i did not remember the password, i kept on trying the basic passwords i must have used. Now, it restarted and all data on the playbook was erased, the initial setup and updates, all gone.
I opened up my PlayBook this morning to bridge to my BB Bold 9780 and the only bridged icon showing was my Contacts (darkened of course). When I went to bridge I got a message on my PB to enter a secret password on my smartphone. After I did that, everything went well, I was "bridged". WTF?
Mar 15, 2016 · We are on holiday and my playbook couldn't find any wifi signal. I tried shutting down but since then it won't get past the splash screen. The next day the same thing happened with my husband's playbook. We can't use either one. We have tried the three button reset but nothing changes. Please help!
Jul 4, 2012 · Take a look at the charging port inside the playbook, the piece inside needs to be level. You need to use a small metal object to make the piece level in the center. This worked for me. The trick is to always keep the blackberry symbol facing upwards, if it is put down, it ruins the alignment of the piece again! Hope this is helpful.
