  4. Supporting this great event is The John Robinson Youth Chess Trust. The Trust (an independent registered charity)was founded in 2006 to support junior chess in England. The Trust has generously supported the British since 2006 and in 2023 awarded the English Chess Federation £10,000 to facilitate the promotion and organising of the event and to provide junior coaching during the championship.

Monday 29th July to Sunday 4th August. 7 rounds over 7 days with rounds starting at 2.30pm each day, aside from round 7 which will start at 10.00am on Sunday 4th August. First 40 moves in 90 minutes, then 30 minutes added for remainder of game, with 30 second increments added from move 1.

  6. Players should login to chess.com with the account registered on the entry form. In addition their chess.com profile should be updated to include the players full name for the duration of the tournament to help with identification by the Championship arbiters. Full names can be removed from the chess.com profile once the tournament is finished.
