Jul 19, 2023 · Crosby Beach is one of the most popular and picturesque beaches situated along the Sefton coastline. Popular with locals and tourists alike, Crosby Beach offers coastal walks, a stunning art installation by world-famous artist Antony Gormley and some fantastic views that can stretch all the way to Snowdonia in North Wales on a clear day.
Crosby Beach is part of the Merseyside coastline north of Liverpool in the Metropolitan Borough of Sefton, England, stretching about 2.5 miles (4.0 km) North-West from the Seaforth Dock in the Port of Liverpool, through Waterloo, where it separates the sea from the Marina. The beach was awarded Keep Britain Tidy's Quality Coast Award in 2011.
Crosby beach is massive, the beach itself is about 2.5 miles long but the full coastal path extends to Southport and is over 20 Miles. During our recent visit we found the beach to be very clean and tidy, in fact, the beach has been awarded the Quality Coast Award by Keep Britain Tidy.

What an amazing beach, it is wide with sand dunes and as an addition to a wonderful beach is the art installation “Another Place” by Anthony Gormley. There are 100 bronze figures placed across the beach at different depths, with the backdrop of the industrial side of Liverpool.
Crosby Beach is the picturesque beginning to 22 miles of Sefton Coastline. From the shore visitors can enjoy views across the sea to Wirral and North Wales hills. A walk along the beach allows views across to Wirral and North Wales.
