When Rapunzel says she won't fight Cassandra, Cassandra cements the fact that she is now Rapunzel's enemy by bringing down the Demanitus Device with her Shadow Blade, causing a chain reaction that destroys the entire chamber.
The main antagonist is Cassandra, someone who betrayed Rapunzel, like Varian. However, the Enchanted Girl is the true antagonist and is playing both sides.
