Neil McDermott (born 15th December 1980) is an British stage and television actor from Southport, Merseyside, England. He played Ryan Malloy in EastEnders from 2009 to 2011, with short returns in 2014, 2016 and 2023. He also played another EastEnders character, Ben in 2003.
Neil is married to actress Michelle Edwards. They have a daughter, Arrabella Betsy, born on 10th January 2011. He has an older brother Ian who is a greenkeeper.
Neil and his wife Michelle opened Mishmak Youth Theatre in January 2010.
