- Evan Williams. According to Explore Kentucky History, Evan Williams is said to be the first commercial distillery in Kentucky. Evan Williams himself came to Louisville, Kentucky from Wales in 1780.

- Michter's. According to Michter's, George Washington bought bottles of their bourbon straight from the distillery back during the Revolutionary War to keep his men warm through the long winter at Valley Forge.

- Evan Williams Bourbon Experience. The Evan Williams Bourbon Experience is located in Louisville, right on historic “Whiskey Row.” Its location makes it the perfect place to start your tour if you are staying in Louisville.
- Angel’s Envy. This distillery features bourbon finished in port wine barrels and rye whiskey finished in rum barrels. Angel’s Envy offers two tours. Their signature tour is a one-hour tour of the distillery.
- Rabbit Hole. Rabbit Hole is one of the newest members on the block. This ultra-modern facility is located in Nulu (New Louisville) and opened in August 2018.
- Michter’s Fort Nelson Distillery. As you tour each distillery, it is the small differences that set each one apart. Michter’s emphasizes their use of high-quality ingredients, low entry proof (they are one of the lowest, at 103 proof going into the barrel), and chill filtering their whiskeys.
- Evan Williams Bourbon. Evan Williams opened Kentucky's first commercial distillery in 1783. Today, guests can still experience the distillery, conveniently located in downtown Lousiville.
- Angel's Envy. This distillery, founded in 2010 by late Master Distiller Lincoln Henderson, holds the distinction of downtown Louisville's first fully operational whiskey production facility.
- Michter's Fort Nelson Distillery. Set in the heart of downtown, this Main Street distillery makes for a perfect digestif after a visit to the nearby Louisville Slugger Museum & Bat Factory.
