Kodachrome. (film) Kodachrome is a 2017 American comedy-drama film directed by Mark Raso and written by Jonathan Tropper, based on a 2010 New York Times article by A.G. Sulzberger. It stars Ed Harris, Jason Sudeikis, Elizabeth Olsen, Bruce Greenwood, Wendy Crewson, and Dennis Haysbert.
Kodachrome is the brand name for a color reversal film introduced by Eastman Kodak in 1935. [ 2 ] It was one of the first successful color materials and was used for both cinematography and still photography. For many years, Kodachrome was widely used for professional color photography, especially for images intended for publication in print media.

Sep 29, 2019 · Another huge advantage to Kodachrome is the quality of the image and depth of colour the film provides even many years after the film was processed - something which I hope this post will show. Some of the images in the gallery below were taken in 1963 which is nearly 60 years ago and the image doesn't seem to have degraded in any way.
