Havana Moon was filmed on 25 March 2016 in Havana, Cuba. The film is a recording of a free outdoor concert put on by the band at the Ciudad Deportiva de la Habana sports complex, which was attended by an estimated 500,000 concert-goers.
Two films were released later that year—one documenting the band’s tour of LatAm and the other a concert film shot during their historic visit to Cuba. Havana Moon—The Rolling Stones Live in Cuba is a visual record of the band’s free performance at an outdoor venue for more than a million Cuban fans on March 25, 2016.
A special guest at the 38th Havana International Film Festival, ongoing in the Caribbean capital until next 18 December, Dugdale expressed his excitement about screening in the island Havana Moon, the film which captures the performance of the English band last 25 March at the Ciudad Deportiva.
