Whitefish Bay Boat Launch Beach is a sandy beach located on Whitefish Bay near the city of Sturgeon Bay.

The park is home to a campground, overnight lodging facility, boat launch, sandy swimming beach, picnic area and shelter. From the sandy shoreline or observation area, visitors enjoy watching passing freighters and the view of Canada across the lake.

Gravel boat launch. Driving Directions: Turn onto the Sowchea Bay Road from Hwy 27 just south of Fort St James. Drive 5 km on the Sowchea Bay Road from the intersection of Hwy 27, turn left onto the Cunningham Forest Service Road (900 Rd).

The DNR public access site is located at the mouth of the Tahquamenon River and Lake Superior's Whitefish Bay, off Highway 123 in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. There is a nice concrete ramp with loading dock, ample parking, vault toilets and a picnic area with grill.
