Aug 21, 2022 · Early and later L2s is a bit confusing to me, I believe they ( that is all 90) were built before Summer 1933, say in June at the latest, based on the number of J2 /L2 bodies supplied from Carbodies. I also believe that they had 8" Rotax/Lucas headlamps with painted shells and chrome rims.

They were then fitted to many MMM models as well as on the early T Types.

  3. As far as I have researched, most of the available repros of Lucas L140 headlights come with a shell in chrome finish. Can anybody indicate a source for these headlamps with shells in primer finish (and chrome rim) ?
