Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness[ c ][ 3 ] (stylized as RESIDENT EVIL: Infinite Darkness) [ 4 ] is a Japanese horror -action CGI [ 5 ] original net animation biopunk miniseries based on the video game series Resident Evil by Capcom. The series stars Resident Evil 2 protagonists Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield.

, known as BIOHAZARD：Infinite Darkness (バイオハザード：インフィニット ダークネス, Baiohazādo infinitto dākunesu?) in Japan, is an animated series that is part of the series' 25th Anniversary and created by TMS Entertainment and Quebico under supervision of Capcom producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi.
The series premiered on the Netflix streaming service on July 8, 2021. The series was released on DVD and Blu-ray with bonus features and other packed in merchandise on December 22 in Japan. It consists of four roughly 24-28 minute episodes and features the return of Resident Evil 2 protagonists, Leon Scott Kennedy and Claire Redfield, voiced by the returning Nick Apostolides and Stephanie Panisello.
The events of the series take place in 2006, 2 years after Resident Evil 4, roughly one year after Revelations and Leon/Claire's previous reunion in Resident Evil: Degeneration, and just shortly before the Raid on the Spencer Estate in the Lost in Nightmares campaign of Resident Evil 5.
From December 2022 to January 2024, a tie-in prequel comic, entitled Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness - The Beginning, was published by TokyoPop and penned by Keith R. A. DeCandido and covers events alluded to in the first episode of the series.
