If you are coming to pray, light a candle or to visit the Minster in general, please enter via the south door opposite the Archbishop's Palace, where you'll be able to view the Quire, Chapels and Chapter House. For more than 1,000 years Southwell Minster has been opening its doors to welcome visitors, pilgrims and worshippers.

  4. The Visitors Centre incorporates the Cathedral Shop, Refectory and audio visual centre. A digitally-recorded audio guide is available. Open daily 8am to 7pm. Southwell Minster will be one of the main venues for the Southwell Music Festival which is taking place on the August bank holiday weekend.
