The Solaris Alpino is the smallest and only Urbino member to not carry the Urbino name.
It is best suited for small city streets and mountainous towns and produces the smallest Co2 levels of any other normal engined Urbino. It uses the Cummins ISB6.7E6 250B engines producing 187kW, which is the same as the low spec Urbino 10 and 12.
The Solaris Urbino 10 Is the smallest Urbino to be available with three doors.
Like the Alpino It uses the same Cummins 250B engine, but as a low specified version. This bus is also the smallest Urbino to be available with two engine choices. The second is a Cummins 280B producing 209kW.
This bus would be used for around 2-6 mile city journeys and mountainous trips, longer than the Alpino.
