For a relatively new tire brand made in Thailand, Mazamas aren’t cheap. Consider a Mazama Reputation sized 205 50 R16, typically found on a Toyota Corolla, as of this writing, they cost $151 per tire. Compare that to a Douglas All-Season (WalMart exclusive), Sentury Touring, Mastercraft Stratus AS, or a Goodyear Reliant (WalMart exclusive) in the same size. I could not find an unbiased video review for Mazama Reputations so, if you’re doing your own research, I’d recommend reading any of Reputation reviews with three stars or fewer (critical reviews are likely the more honest ones.)

Oct 17, 2018 · Mazama Open range review... These are a 285-75-17 tire, 10 ply tread 2 ply sidewall <--. Day 1: Out of the alignment shop, tons of drag, so much so I thought the brakes were dragging. Coasting down hills was rough, a lot of speed lost. High rolling resistance.
I'm gonna put 35s on my Rubicon 4xe and I went to my local les Schwab tire shop with every intention of getting KO2s again just in the 35 inch and the tire salesman told me about the open range tires from Mazama. He said it outperformed KO2s in most every category.
