Reç (also known as Reç i Poshtëm) is a settlement in the former Shkrel municipality, Shkodër County, northern Albania. At the 2015 local government reform it became part of the municipality Malësi e Madhe .
REC Albania stands as the successor of the Regional Environmental Center for Central and Eastern Europe (REC) presence in Albania. Established in 1993, the Albanian office has been an integral part of REC's network in Southeast Europe for nearly three decades.
Driving east up to the mountains from Koplik, you'll pass through the Shkreli region, with the villages of Reç, Zagora, Bzheta, Dedaj and Vrith. The landscape here is not as dramatic as deeper in the mountains, but there are many beauty spots and good places to eat well and stay for a few nights.
Reçi is a historical Albanian tribe. It is located in the ethnographic region of Malësia northern Albania. The historical heartland of the tribe is the village of Reç in Malësia, but place names linked to them also appear on settlements such as Reč in Ulcinj where a part of them also lived.
