Jun 11, 2014 · SPOILERS. - I somewhat smiled while reading the opening scene. Shang-Chi's jaunt through the bar seemed to come straight out of "Kung Fu." Indeed, being calm, cool, and confident while in the midst of a bar filled with gang members and tough customers, Shang definitely exuded this Kwai Chang Caine vibe. And I dug it.
A former lover of Shang-Chi’s is murdered in cold blood while working deep undercover for MI-6. When Shang-Chi travels to England to pay his respects he learns all is not as it seems, and if he’s not careful he may be next to die! May 15, 2014 · Rest assured though, like anything with Shang-Chi, I read Deadly Hands of Kung Fu #1 twice, in order to get a full understanding of the story. Overall, I think it could have been better. The issue feels like a C+/B- (some of you may even think that's a bit too generous).
