Mar 8, 2021 · I do not believe its a good movie, but with the co-direction of Gary Goldman, the budget and oversight of 20th Century Fox (who built a brand new studio for it), and a more disciplined attempt to do something like what modern Disney was doing, it was much more palatable and became a hit.

  8. YES. For a long time I thought I dreamed this or something because no one else remembered it. Great movie! Everyone thinks about the Disney stuff (a lot of which was good too), but Don Bluth had Secret of NIMH, Land Before Time, All Dogs Go To Heaven, Pete's Dragon etc. Lots of good stuff!
