Mar 20, 2016 · I have always wanted to visit Yan Ji Wei Wei Seafood Soup at Woodlands Centre Food Centre near the Woodlands Checkpoint but the distance to the far north is just too discouraging. But for the seek of good food, I just have to make the long journey to taste the bowl of seafood soup myself.

- The Crowded Bowl. Address: Republic Polytechnic, Level 3, The Lawn Food Court. Opening Hours: 9.30 am to 4.30 pm (Closed on public holidays and weekends) The Lawn Food Court is pretty well hidden, so you may need to ask around before you can find it.
But the dish that truly makes this a stall worthy of a foodie's pilgrimage is its seafood soup. Generous slices of fresh pomfret are cooked with minced pork, tomatoes and a choice of crayfish or prawn.

Jan 15, 2012 · The soup is very delicious and sweet - much like how the soup of steamboat meal will taste like after 5 hours of putting ingredients inside. The prawns gives the soup its seafood-y sweetness and there are meat 'balls' inside that is very satisfying and juicy. They are more like meat chunks.
Their menu is the same with their main outlet in Woodlands Centre Road Food Centre. I was there during lunch but unlike their other outlet, there was no queue at all. I ordered exactly the same thing, which is the medium portion of seafood soup at $8.00.

Apr 1, 2016 · I chanced upon some reviews of this stall selling seafood soup in Woodlands and decided to go check it out as they have a version with crayfish! Yan Ji Seafood Soup is located at the Woodlands Centre Road Food Centre, just a stone's throw from the Woodlands Checkpoint.
