- Located about 40 miles West of Casper this attraction is easy to pass by but well worth the visit. The view is some what blocked by the chain link fence but much better towards the picnic bench area. If you go little further from picnic area you will find old riad that takes you down in to this alien wonderland and it’s unique formations.

Dec 22, 2021 · Hell's Half Acre was a real historical place, and by most accounts, it was just as rough as it is portrayed on screen. In the 1870s, Fort Worth was a boom town and an economic center for frontier travel and agriculture commerce, per the Texas State Historical Association.
Hell's Half Acre was a precinct of Fort Worth, Texas designated as a red-light district beginning in the early to mid 1870s in the Old Wild West. [1] It came to be called the town's "Bloody Third ward " because of the violence and lawlessness in the area.
