   • Switched from Rogers to Bell Fibe in March. I was a happy Rogers customer (500/20 down/up) stable. New prices were too much, and customer retentions was too little and far too late. I'm with Bell gigabit. Speed is great, connection is stable. I have Alt TV (with Sportsnet TSN) for $20 is far better than Rogers Cable TV.

   Is Fibe cable better than xDSL?

   • We use Virgin, which is a Bell subsidiary and fibe reseller. Cheaper by far than Bell. We are getting close to 130 down, 10 up. It's been fast and stable. Switched from Bell fibe to teksavvy cable and we actually found it made no difference speed wise The biggest advantage that true fibre optic has over xDSL and cable is the upload speed.

Though time will tell on that front. Now there is one thing that Rogers is better than be Bell at, and that is the deployment of IPv6 on their network.
