I'm wondering if it's really that much better, in terms of connection, speed, reliability, to choose Bell's fiber optic internet than cable or dsl. Does it use the same cable line? or is it a different line than cable?
Aug 8, 2022 · While I will point out that past performance is not an indicator of future performance, hearing all of those comments suggests to me that Bell Fibe is reliable. Though time will tell on that front. Now there is one thing that Rogers is better than be Bell at, and that is the deployment of IPv6 on their network.
Internet provider based Wi-Fi is typically bad unfortunately but it may be worth reaching out in the Bell Direct forum via dslreports - they tend to be super helpful and they respond pretty actively. https://www.dslreports.com/forum/sympatdirect.
