Oct 12, 2018 · Barinholtz is a likeable actor who co-wrote one of the best movies of 2016, “Central Intelligence.” That movie managed to successfully juggle action, antagonistic character comedy and relationship drama. “The Oath” has all of these ingredients as well, but adds to them the need to make a balanced yet heavy-handed political statement.
I liked this movie. It is a plausible story of what happens with Moroni. I always felt that Moroni was not that far away from the Lamanites and was hiding while finishing the record. The story is about keeping your "oath" covenants , promises etc. Being a man of integrity using Moroni as the catalyst to teach that. So the message is good.
