      • "Atlantic City" is overall a well done film that's pays homage to the city itself and is somewhat a going away present for legendary Burt Lancaster. The film seems low key though even though drama is present it's not your typical gangster film of blood and violence and the plot is pretty simple and not to complex.

  4. This movie got very good notices when it came out, was highly regarded, but no one seems to remember it. That's a shame because it is indeed very good. It's a story about a young woman struggling to escape her low-status life and make something of herself.
