In return for saving the life of the coolest guy in school, Doogie is rewarded by being allowed to hang around with him and his cool friends. With his newfound coolness, Doogie neglects Vinnie and disobeys his father.
Doogie's leukemia patient undergoes a risky procedure to save his life. Doogie and Vinnie work on their roommate relationship to stay living together.
