The Toy Story franchise consists mainly of five animated feature films: Toy Story (1995), Toy Story 2 (1999), Toy Story 3 (2010), Toy Story 4 (2019), and the spin-off film within a film Lightyear (2022). A fifth film was recently announced, which is set to be released in 2026.
Toy Story is a 1995 American animated comedy film produced by Pixar Animation Studios for Walt Disney Pictures. The first installment in the Toy Story franchise, it was the first entirely computer-animated feature film, as well as the first feature film from Pixar.
Pixar has produced 28 feature films, which were all released by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures through the Walt Disney Pictures banner, with its first being Toy Story (which was also the first CGI-animated feature ever theatrically released) on November 22, 1995, and its latest being Inside Out 2 on June 14, 2024.

Main article: Lightyear On December 10, 2020 at Disney's 2020 Investor Day meeting, Lightyear was announced as a spin-off prequel film depicting the in-universe origin of the Buzz Lightyear character with Chris Evans as the voice of a human Buzz Lightyear, replacing Tim Allen, since Allen's Buzz is a toy. The film was released on June 17, 2022.
In addition to Toy Story Toons, Toy Story also had two 22-minute television specials that aired on ABC.
