Apr 17, 2011 · Covering the drum shade in fabric is really easy, here’s how: 1) Turn the shade on its side and match up the seam of the shade to the beginning of your fabric like this (I’m using poster board to give a better visual of where to cut the fabric):
- DIY Ruffled Burlap Shade. Looking at this beautiful lamp makes you think of the ugly lights you have in the basement. Why not make those lamps lovely instead of leaving them on the curb?
- Pom-Pom Lamp Makeover. Either you buy the pre-made ones or make them yourselves, these Pom Poms added a nice pop of color to the outdated lamp. Simply searching online will give various Pom Pom tutorials, or you could get a Pom Pom Maker to make your life easier.
