  1. If you're still able to get emails and text messages from us, try following the steps to reset your password. If you aren’t receiving codes from us to reset your password: Make sure the code hasn’t gone into your spam or junk folder. Check your connection. You’ll need a signal to receive the code.

  2. To reset your password if you're not logged in to Facebook: Go to the Find Your Account Page. Type the email, mobile phone number, full name or username associated with your account, then click Search. Follow the on-screen instructions.

  7. Once you have your recovery codes, you can use one in place of your authenticator code when logging in. Get your codes. Click your profile picture in the top right of Facebook. Select Settings & privacy, then click Settings. Click Accounts Center. Click Password and security.
