May 15, 2024 · You may be surprised to learn that Ghent (Dutch: Gent) is actually the largest city of the Flanders region in Belgium after Antwerp. This stunning port destination is located in the country’s north-west and easily accessible from numerous cities.
Such a beautiful, lively part of Gent. Lovely place to take a stroll, enjoy some delicious food, drink a refreshing beer, people-watch, take a boat ride... Very lively during Gent Festival, and pretty touristy/busy in July (after the festival), but absolutely worth visiting, and not so crowded as to be unenjoyable.
