The only one I'm aware that does claim to support Wideband LNB is the Arris 4K Freesat box. However if the LNB that was fitted was a "hybrid", it may have 2 Wideband ports and 2 standard ports. Both ITVHD and C4HD appear on all of my Freesat kit -- two TVs, one Sony, one LG, an Arris Freesat PVR and a Manhattan SX receiver. C4HD is not regional, or at least it wasn't, in that C4 use the London region to feed the channel nationally.

Jan 12, 2022 · The "setting up your dish" problem is due to standby mode being set to passive. To fix this, press Home on your remote, then Settings, then System settings, then Standby mode, then Set Standby Mode. Change the mode to Active, then Save & Close. The TV channel should now appear as soon as you switch the box on.

Freesat is available on LG TV models LF630V, LF650V and LF652V, in screen sizes ranging from 32” to 55”. If you own an LG TV, and have not opted-in to auto-updates, you will have to ensure your software is up to date to get Freesat.

The system is designed to allow the same series Crid for all programmes with the same name provided that there is not a gap of more than 13 weeks between events (a posh way of saying a new episode).
Jun 2, 2022 · EPGs are an issue as both the Freesat and the HD Freeview EPGs are encrypted and only licensed manufacturers are given the decrpyt data, Vbox is not one of these. The boxes can use an external EPG that you routinely download to a shared location or the box itself can just be given the url. Neither are perfect.
