A more defensive player like Kante would never get the same votes as a creative player. That still doesn’t make Mahrez a better player than Kante. Legacy-wise especially. Both Vardy and Kante are legends on the EPL. Mahrez is an icon but not an all-time-great. That’s my opinion obviously. All this is kinda subjective.
