Jesse Lee Peterson, Founder and President of BOND (Brotherhood Organization of a New Destiny) and NewsmaxTV host, officially announced that July is "White History Month.” Peterson made the announcement on air during his daily national radio talk show which airs Monday-Friday, 6-9 a.m. PST / 9 a.m. -12 Noon EST.
AFPAC has been described as a white nationalist political action committee. The Anti-Defamation League described Peterson's speech as the "one of the most racist" of all delivered at the event, in which he described black people as the destroyers of America.
