  1. May 31, 2024 · Many today look at the world around us, see the headlines, and wonder if we are living in the end times. One way or another, we’re getting closer, but we should carefully explore the words of Jesus and how events today might fit his teaching. Let's look at seven events that will be signs of the end times and last days of earth.

    • Are we living in the Apocalypse? We are closer to the end than ever before. That's an obvious statement, but many who don't even believe in the Bible believe the world will one day end and that we are getting closer to that time.
    • Who or what are the four horsemen of the Apocalypse? Numerous movies and TV shows have dealt with apocalyptic circumstances, and many of us have heard of the four horsemen.
    • What does 666 mean? During the Tribulation, every living person will be required to bear the mark of the Beast—the number 666. According to Revelation 13, the Beast from the earth (the False Prophet) will introduce the mark: "He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name" (Revelation 13:16–17).
    • What is the Battle of Armageddon? The Battle of Armageddon marks the triumphant ending of the Tribulation period. It is the final battle between the forces of good and evil, with Jesus as the victor.

That’s one view.

  4. The Apostle John, in his first epistle, said that we are living in the last days (1 John 2:18). The last days are the period from Christ’s ascension to His glorious return. So, we are definitely in the last days. People want to know how close we are to the end of the last days, but I cannot say.

  5. 29 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on ...

  6. What Every Christian Should Know About The End Times. Throughout the Bible—especially in the book of Revelation—God helps us see what we cannot see on our own. He gives us an apocalyptic yet hope-filled vision of how the final days of His original creation will play out.
