A few years back Mark Millar did a talent search for writers and artists who ultimately had their work published in the 2016 and 2017 Millarworld annuals. I entered both years as a writer. Didn't win, but it was a fun experience - a lot of us posted our entries on the Millarworld forums after the contest was over and gave each other feedback.

What's Mark Millar said now? Question. I'm getting the gist from (the app formerly known as) Twitter that he's at the centre of something recently, possibly on his podcast. EVS, "cancel pigs" and comicsgate all being thrown around in the mix, but can't find what started it or who's arguing what really. Lot of noise and no substance.

Jun 8, 2024 · This is a genuinely great interview, Mark Millar is one of those enthusiastic chaps who wants to be liked so much he puts people at ease which works well for Pat Mills. Much as I don't love Millar's comics his energy and passion for making popular comics is joyful.
