Dec 4, 2020 · Blackberry Device Manager confirmed the connection but displayed a "volume not mounted" error. Tried various things (starting from replacing the cable, of course) but didn't succeed and used Dukto to move files to the Playbook. Dukto file transfer is a bit slower but it just works.

Feb 21, 2013 · I just downloaded on my playbook the updated os 2.1.0.1526 and now I can't download any apps. I had no problem before the update. The different apps (free apps) are asking for access to the internet, files and device identifying information. Whether you accept or decline it doesn't install the app.

Jul 4, 2012 · The problem was the USB connection to the desktop would not provide enough power to run the Playbook in order to download the software AND charge the playbook at the same time. The playbook would just run out of power and shut down in the middle of the process.
