Answer. When I try to lock the Aura deadbolt, it makes noises but doesn’t lock. Aura may not have been ‘handed’ properly. (The ‘handing’ process allows the lock to determine which direction to extend the deadbolt.) Aura will automatically ‘hand’ the first time it powers up.
