Hosted by Chris Tarrant, possibly the most well known quiz show in the world, it is no wonder Who Wants to be a Millionaire has been nominated and won so many BAFTAs. Chris Tarrant has made his fame from this show. The UK version of the show was the first one and it was the inspiration for the Irish version and the US version.

Charles Ingram, a former British Army major from Derbyshire, was a contestant on series 10 of the UK version of the show on the shows scheduled for broadcast on 15 & 18 September, 2001.
After originally winning £1,000,000, the prize was cancelled after it was revealed that he had cheated his way through most of the questions. As a result, the episodes that he appeared in were not actually broadcast until 21 April, 2003.
