Some family friends live there. There are some nice parts, and then some less desirable parts, same as with any London borough. Good location for walks/cycling along the river to places like Barnes or the opposite way to Richmond, and plenty of larger parks nearby. The canal area is very nice too, with a few friendly cafes dotted around.
