It was known as rewirpowerSTADION [ʁeˈviːɐ̯paʊ.ɐˌʃtaːdi̯ɔn] (or, rarely, [ʁəˈviːɐ̯-]) from 2006 to 2016, also for sponsorship reasons.

In the middle of the German city of Bochum lies the Vonovia Ruhrstadion, the home ground of VfL Bochum. Since 1911, the stadium (formerly known as rewirpowerSTADION and Ruhrstadion) has served as the home of the Bochum club. The stadium has a capacity of 26,000 spectators: 14,000 seats compared to 11,600 standing places.
It is a really nice stadium, not far from the centre of town, with a tramlink right to the door. It was a great atmosphere outside and inside the ground, with a near full capacity of around 20,000. Made even better by the fact the home team won (probably unexpectedly), and the fans went crazy.
