Thunderbirds Are Go! is the main theme of the 2004 movie and was sung by British pop-rock/pop-punk band Busted.

Despite the movie's critical and commercial failure, the song peaked at Number 1 in the UK Singles Charts and later won the 2004 UK Record of the Year Award. It was also released on the movie's official soundtrack.

•The song was once featured on the animated action comedy-adventure television series Kim Possible.

•In the song's lyrics, the pre-chorus says "No strings to hold them down" which is a reference to the Supermarionation techniques of the 1960s TV series.

    Spring break's come around and

There's more heroes to be found

There's something major going down on Tracy Island (island)

    Weapons underground

Keeping our planet safe and sound

If someone evil's coming round they should be frightened (frightened)
